Petunia Lacewing is a gentle, pleasant little bunny. She has a fondness for ring-a-ring-a-rosie and forget-me-nots.

Hand sewn, made from pretty pink and pale blue wool felt, embroidered fabric (from a sweet vintage Chinese blouse that I liked, but was NEVER going to wear... so I chopped up!) and some special vintage buttons.
I really like how all the elements sit here, very simple, but it works, and I think she's sweet!

So adorable! Where do you find vintage buttons? Family collections? Thrift stores? How do you know they are vintage? Sorry for all the questions! Really, she is sweet

My buttons come from all over the place! a lot are from my grandmother's old collections (from both sides) and I am often on the look out at markets and second-hand shops... And by "vintage" I just mean they are old, I know this for the ones from my grandmother's, and you can often tell... still, some that I say are vintage may not be old enough to be classed as such (who knows!), however they are always second hand!
